Ohio brewery sues Pennsylvania over 'protectionist' rules that limit beer sales
A Cincinnati-based brewery is taking aim at Pennsylvania's alcohol regulations. Urban Artifact, a 9-year-old brewery that specializes in fruit-infused beers, filed a federal lawsuit earlier this month alleging that Pennsylvania uses unfair barriers to restrict sales from companies that aren't located in the commonwealth. The suit was filed in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
Here’s how much Mahoning Valley arts organizations will receive from Ohio Arts Council
Donna Collins is the executive director of the Ohio Arts Council. According to Collins, the OAC board approved 935 grants to Ohio arts organizations. It’s a total of $22,704,702, the largest single round of grant awards distributed to OAC funding applicants in the agency’s history, according to Collins.
