Jennifer Lopez Is Reportedly Shopping For A New Home In Beverly Hills Amid Ben Affleck Divorce Rumors

Following Ben Affleck ‘s reported $20.5M house purchase last month comes the news that Jennifer Lopez is also looking for a new place to live.

According to reports, the 55-year-old multihyphenate is house-hunting in Beverly Hills right now, following the news that she and the 52-year-old Gone Girl actor recently put their Beverly Hills mansion up for sale amid those ongoing divorce rumors.

It's hard to know exactly what is going on with the A-list married couple at the moment. While they have been spending a lot of time apart over the past few months, the Shotgun Wedding actress *was* papped paying a short visit to the Tender Bar actor at his rental property on his 52nd birthday on August 15th. We don't know if that means anything though, as his ex-wife Jennifer Garner – the mother of his three children – also paid him a short birthday visit that same day. While a birthday visit does sound promising for their relationship, spending very little time together the rest of the time – and the fact that they are selling their marital home and are purchasing solo homes – seems to suggest that there is a lot of truth in those divorce rumors.

Insiders have been talking about Lopez and Affleck going their separate ways for quite a few months now. An insider reportedly told InTouch back in May: "They reunited 20 years after they first broke up, only to see everything fall apart again. It’s humiliating for Jennifer."

Jennifer Lopez Reportedly Views 'Truly Exceptional' Home In Beverly Hills

According to People, a source close to the JLo Beauty mogul revealed that she had recently viewed a "truly exceptional" property in Beverly Hills. This comes following the reports that she had closed escrow on a property in New York City the month before.

The Beverly Hills property reportedly ticked a lot of boxes for the Marry Me actress, with one of the highlights being that it was on a private street with A-list neighbors. The source confirmed that the house was an "ideal setting for those seeking seclusion," but we don't know whether the "On the Floor" singer has made an offer yet.

The insider went on to say that Lopez isn't just looking for a new home now that the Batman v Superman actor has bought one, as she has actually been looking since May! The insider said she's been "looking on and off" for the last few months, and has even been viewing properties that are not officially on the market.

Ben Affleck Already Purchased A $20.5M Home In California

As we previously mentioned, the Argo actor closed on a new $20.5M home in the Pacific Palisades on July 24th, which just so happened to be the Atlas star 's 55th birthday. Ouch!

The mansion reportedly has five bedrooms and six bathrooms, as well as walk-in closets, breakfast and dining areas, a separate family room, a den, a media room, a swimming pool, horse stables, and even a guest house. Check out some pictures of the luxurious property here.

An insider recently told People : "The environment is family-friendly, but it could easily be transformed into a bachelor pad." They went on to say that it also "boasts a sophisticated crowd – it's not trendy. Real establishment."
