Channing Tatum Accuses Jenna Dewan Of 'Delay Tactics' As Their Messy Divorce Battle Rages On: She's 'Using Every Trick In The Book'

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan are challenging Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie not only for longest drawn out divorce, but messiest divorce. Though they filed for divorce back in 2018, Tatum and Dewan are still duking it out, and things are starting to get catty. Dewan just requested that Tatum’s entire legal team be dismissed, claiming there’s a conflict of interest, which Tatum responded was simply a “delay tactic.” Keep reading for more information.

Jenna Dewan Requests Channing Tatum's Legal Team Be Dismissed

Channing Tatum not only starred in but co-produced Magic Mike , and it all went down when Tatum and Jenna Dewan were still married. Dewan is now claiming that Tatum is "attempting to blur the lines" around Magic Mike intellectual property, which she claims was developed during their relationship and was co-financed with marital funds. As it turns out, Tatum's legal team at Glaser Weil and Blank Rome was involved in some transactions related to Magic Mike intellectual property, and Dewan is not happy about it.

So, she filed a request for Tatum's legal team to be dismissed, due to the conflict of interest. She also claimed that Tatum and his team should've "disclosed Glaser Weil's extensive and ongoing involvement with martial transactions related to the community's Magic Mike intellectual property."

Channing Tatum, however, found this request to be ridiculous, with his team writing the request is "a frivolous filing that has no basis in law or fact" and "a transparent attempt to divert the Court’s attention from her willful violation of her Court ordered deposition and discovery deadlines."

He also called it " a delay tactic ," but Dewan's team was quick to fire back with the accusation that Tatum has used "every trick in the book to stall this case from getting to a trial." Catty, right?

However, it seems Dewan doesn't have much ground to stand on, as Tatum's lawyers released a statement saying he's "made exhaustive efforts to settle all issues in this matter without litigation. He has made countless settlement proposals, attended multiple mediations, his attorneys have prepared numerous drafts of a proposed judgment, and he has tried to resolve issues directly."
