Lana Del Rey Seemingly Denies Rumors That She Is Dating Married Louisiana-Born Alligator Tour Guide On Social Media

Lana Del Rey has taken to social media to deny that she is dating Louisiana-born alligator tour guide Jeremy Dufrene , following the rumors that were doing the rounds last month.

According to Page Six , the 39-year-old “Summertime Sadness” singer reportedly met Dufrene when she took one of his air boat tours back in 2019. She has dated Sean Larkin, Clayton Johnson, Jack Donoghue, and Evan Winiker since meeting Dufrene, but five years later, rumors about the pair finally dating had surfaced online.

Some of the things which led fans to believe they were together included reportedly being spotted holding hands backstage at Leeds Festival in the U.K., where the “White Dress” singer was performing last month, shopping at luxury department store Harrods, according to the Daily Mail, and eating at a local London pub.

On Saturday, August 31st, the "Diet Mountain Dew" singer seemingly shut down the dating rumors by commenting on a @thejustnlife Instagram post about her "latest boyfriend."

She wrote "no" in the comments section, and also added that X user @strnrtn, who has been claiming to be Dufrene's daughter on the social media platform and sharing screenshots of alleged text messages between them, is in fact *not* his daughter. Lana confirmed: "Also, that's not his daughter on Twitter."

Who Is Jeremy Dufrene?

Jeremy Dufrene is of course a real person who has met the "Born to Die" singer, so what else do we know about him?

He reportedly works at Airboat Tours by Arthur in Des Allemands, Louisiana, where he explores the Bayou des Allemands, known as the 'Catfish Capital of the World.' Lana isn't the only famous face who has been on one of his tours, as he has reportedly met Kate Hudson, Emma Roberts, and Glen Powell, to name just three.

We don't know much about his personal life, although someone claiming to be his daughter on X (who Del Rey has since called out and said is *not* his daughter!) alleged that he is married and recently left his wife and two children for Lana. Of course since we now know from Lana herself that the X user isn't his daughter, we must assume that all of the text messages are fake. But let's take a look at them anyway…

X User Claiming To Be Jeremy Dufrene's Daughter Suggested That Her Father Recently Left Her Mother For Lana Del Rey

X user @strnrtn, who claimed to be one of Dufrene's daughters, shared alleged text exchanges with who she said was her father on the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

The text messages, which were also reshared by several other accounts, including Lana Del Rey fan accounts, seemed to suggest that she had no idea that her father was dating Del Rey, and also implied that he was with her mother just a few months ago, before allegedly leaving her for the "Video Games" singer. As mentioned above, these text messages are now believed to be fake since Lana herself confirmed that @strnrtn isn't his daughter. But since many people believed they were real last month, let's take a look at what they said…

Writing all in caps, X user @strnrtn allegedly asks her father, "Is there anything you want to tell me?" He replies with a simple, "What?" and she then writes, "Lana Del [expletive] Rey? You just left mom a few weeks ago? Is this why? What the [expletive] dad?]" Dufrene then casually replies, "Oh yeah. Meant to tell you."

"He just texted our family group chat and asked how I found out," @strnrtn replied to her own post, adding: "He doesn't understand social media I'm in tears. This is not [expletive] real. Everyone is fighting, my mom is threatening to sue him. I can't believe this is happening right now."

Of course many people didn't believe that the X user was Dufrene's daughter, or that the text messages were real. "You want a moment so bad," wrote one X user, which she replied to writing: "I truly wish this was a joke. He left my mom officially a few weeks ago and said he was moving on to something bigger. Clearly he has."

One X user wrote: "I wanna believe u so bad," as another added: "No proof, no blue check, just farming for the love of the game."
