A-listers may get some of the best seats in the house… but they seem to come at their own unique cost. And that cost is having their every move documented for the whole world to see!

Akin to Prince William , who was mocked for his “embarrassing” dance moves during the Eras Tour earlier this summer, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have also been mocked for singing and dancing during the US Open on Sunday, September 8th. Keep reading for all the details.

Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce Dance And Engage In PDA During US Open

As we previously reported, the 34-year-old “Bad Blood” singer and the 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight-end were filmed having the time of their lives at the US Open – especially when “I Believe in a Thing Called Love” by The Darkness came on.

The couple were pictured singing along and dancing, with the “Cruel Summer” hitmaker even engaging in a spot of air guitar. While many fans were obsessed with a video shared by the official US Open TikTok account (above) and thought Taylor and Travis were the perfect match, many others have since posted some less than complimentary comments, with some calling them “cringe” and others thinking their behavior was “fake” and even “forced.” Yikes!

Fans Mock Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce’s ‘Cringe’ Dancing

Commenting on a video posted by E! News on Instagram on September 9th, one fan said: “This is a little too fake for me.” “They know they’re on camera it just seems really fake,” agreed a second, as a third concurred: “Playing it up entirely for the camera… as fake as fake can get.” A fourth also thought the same thing, adding: “Everything about her is staged.”

“Quick we’re on camera, let’s over exaggerate again,” quipped another Instagram user, followed by three crying laughing emojis. “Everything is so performative,” thought another, which someone else echoed, writing: “This has to be exhausting to constantly be performing.” “She always wants attention,” criticized another IG user, as someone else added: “Don’t hate me but it just looks forced. Sorry.”

Someone else called the "Anti-Hero" hitmaker the "Queen of Cringe." "This is so annoying," slammed another user. "I hate to say this, but unfortunately, this looks like the most awkward interaction I've seen in the longest time," noted another fan.

"They always look like they're trying so hard to flaunt their relationship. Their interactions don't even seem organic anymore at this point," thought another. "When someone asks me why I don't like T Swift, I'm going to show them this video," wrote another self-confessed non-fan.

Other Swifties did of course come to the couple's defense, with one writing: "I think it's adorable. They are quirky together. He doesn't have to be a tough guy with her and she can geek out with him. It's awesome to see a happy couple having a great time together." "They're just like the rest of us cringey millennials," joked another fan. "Y'all are a bunch of haters… let them live, they are such a vibe together," praised another fan, followed by the heart eyes emoji.
