    TikTok creator Tonya ( @takingmylifebackat42 ), who has over 1.4M followers on TikTok and has shed 280 pounds so far, shared her fan-favorite chicken taco cottage cheese bowl recipe that has her followers “drooling!” Her simple yet drool-worthy recipe not only packs a bunch of flavor but is also ideal for those who love tacos and are still trying to lose weight without restricting themselves.     Chicken Taco Cottage Cheese Bowl Recipe

    Tonya takes her favorite brand of cottage cheese and adds a couple scoops of it to a plate. Next, she adds shredded chicken to the plate; her chicken recipe includes a burst of flavor and color thanks to ranch seasoning, taco seasoning, and salsa, all cooked to perfection in a crockpot.

    After that, you want to grab a handful of shredded cheese and put that in the microwave until it’s melted (she recommends about a minute to a minute and a half). While that’s doing its thing in the microwave, she slices some cherry tomatoes in half and takes out Taco Bell sauce from the fridge to add to the plate later. At this point, you can add whatever toppings you desire, such as lettuce, low-fat sour cream, and more.

    Once you take your hot plate out of the microwave, you can mix together the ingredients with a fork, add your tomatoes and whatever other toppings you like, and drizzle some taco sauce (or any sauce you prefer) over it.

    You can end the recipe there, but Tonya takes a step further and puts some zero-carb chipotle tortillas in the microwave for a crispy texture, and once that’s done, she scoops some of the chicken from the plate for the perfect taco bite!
