Jennifer Lopez Speaks On 'Looking Inward' After 4th Divorce

At some point, perhaps after divorce #3, you have to wonder—is it me? It sounds like JLo is finally addressing this question . After being asked how she figures out what went wrong without edging into the "What's wrong with me?" territory, the 55-year-old answered, "It’s looking back at the feelings underneath and the belief systems that we have about ourselves that make us make certain choices and create certain patterns in our life."

"And so," she continued, "when you get to a point where you think that you’ve learned the lessons, and then it blows up in your face again, you realize, 'Okay, I haven’t, so what is it that I need to look at right now?' I would say, never stop looking inward, because it’s so easy to blame everybody else. "

Jennifer Lopez Is 'Not Looking For Anybody' As A Single Woman

Speaking specifically about this past summer when she filed for divorce from her husband, she admitted that she reached a breaking point this year saying, "I need to go off and be on my own. I want to prove to myself that I can do that."

When her interviewer asked if she's setting a higher bar for her next romantic partner, JLo fired back: "Here's the thing: There is no new bar because I'm not looking for anybody!"

"For people who are romantics and love being in relationships and want to grow old with somebody, we think, 'I have to have that to be whole and happy.' And you don’t." Though it took a few failed marriages, fans are in full support of JLo taking some time off from romantic relationships, writing on social media, "Girl, go find yourself!"
