    Julianne Moore exuded timeless elegance during the Madrid photocall for her forthcoming film, The Room Next Door earlier this week.

    The Oscar winner and style icon , 63, graced the red carpet in a chic brown off-the-shoulder blouse, matching satin pants and black pointed-toe heeled ankle boots.

    The Still Alice alum posed for solo shots and later joined her co-star Tilda Swinton , who also looked fashionable in a tweed burgundy set with shimmering embroidered details. Moore accessorized her look with layered gold chain necklaces and wore her signature copper tresses down, parted in the center and styled into effortless loose waves.

    As for her makeup look, the Crazy, Stupid, Love actress went for a black winged liner look with rosy eyeshadow, voluminous lashes, radiant blush on her high cheekbones and a glossy pink pout. Moore and Swinton, 63, were also accompanied by the film's director, Pedro Almodóvar , who linked arms with Moore.

    Almodóvar's English-language debut, The Room Next Door , was both written and directed by him and is adapted from Sigrid Nunez 's novel What Are You Going Through. The movie stars Swinton and Moore, with John Turturro and Alessandro Nivola in key supporting roles.

    The story centers on Ingrid (Moore) and Martha (Swinton), who once shared a deep friendship while working at the same magazine during their younger years. After a long period of estrangement, they find themselves reunited under extraordinary yet oddly heartwarming circumstances.

    Premiering on September 2nd at the 81st Venice International Film Festival, it made history by becoming the first Spanish film to win the prestigious Golden Lion award. Sony Pictures Classics plans a limited U.S. release on December 20th. Mark your calendars!
