There doesn’t seem to be any reconciliation on the horizon for Christina Hall and Josh Hall’s marriage. The three-year relationship began lightning-fast and eventually fizzled out , but it’s her friends who reportedly raised some concerns ahead of her wedding to him in 2021.

The former couple were together only seven months before they walked down the aisle, and her pals thought it was too much, too soon. “Plenty of people warned her not to rush into marrying Josh,” a Life & Style source claimed. “Now she’s saying she didn’t really have a clue who he is.” A second insider said in July that the HGTV personality is someone who “follows her heart” but “it always seems to end in heartbreak.”

“The feeling is that Christina rushed into this marriage without thinking it through,” they added. That race to get hitched might have also impacted her thoughts on getting a prenuptial agreement before marrying Josh. Now, they are locked in a financial battle over the income earned in the last three years. Christina is alleging he took $35,000 out of her rental income property bank account and transferred it for his personal use.

“Christina wants her money back. In July 2021, Christina shared how she and Josh met in a now-deleted Instagram post, via People. “I met Josh when I wasn’t in a state of fear or fight-or-flight … I had taken time off social, hired a spiritual coach, and smoked a Bufo toad,” she wrote. That psychedelic experience “basically reset my brain and kicked out years of anxiety in 15 mins.” She also added that “the synchronicities hit us so hard and fast they were impossible to ignore” and she “felt immediately crazy protective over him.” That love-at-first-sight moment led to their quick nuptials, it gave her no time to spot any potential red flags in the relationship even though her friends were trying to warn her.
