    Insiders Reveal Why Meghan Markle Won’t Be ‘Doing Anything’ With Her Brand Until This Later Date

    Chances are, we may not see Meghan Markle’s brand takeover until mid-2025 at the earliest; all because of her Netflix shows. Fans have been patiently waiting for her lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard (ARO) to officially launch, as well as her Netflix shows. However, we’re in Aug 2024, and nothing; and it may be about a year until we see anything again.

    Hollywood sources told The Daily Beast that The Duchess of Sussex allegedly wont be able to release ARO products until her Netflix work comes to light.

    “Everyone has to abide by Netflix’s schedule these days,” a senior entertainment executive said. “They are by far the biggest player in town.”

    They added that there’s “literally no point in Meghan doing anything” until Netflix releases her shows , but because of trademark issues and program planning, that may not be until mid-2025. Meghan’s cooking show may be done filming, but there’s no set release date.

    While it seems her show is not dealing with any bumps, her ARO brand already is , which may make the release dates be pushed even further. And per DailyMail , ARO trademarks have some “irregularities” that need attention.

    She reportedly has to make some “corrections” to address these issues, which was mainly due to allegedly her incorrectly classifying certain products in the application. (We do know that in the trademark applications, Meghan added a list of products such as household items, stationery, kitchen appliances, beverages, food, bath accessories, and more for ARO; however, there has been no other news except some random celebrity plugging.)

    Plus, with all of this, she still has to think about her biggest competitor: the Royal Collection Trust .

    Carla Horvath, a public relations expert, exclusively told SheKnows earlier this year that American Riviera Orchard’s biggest competitor right now may beat her because of the Trust’s large-scale production.

    Horvath said, “While she thinks the ‘small batch’ jams will create exclusivity, consumers are savvy enough to know that a large-scale production of luxury jams is possible, like her competitor The Collection, which is administered by The Royal Collection Trust, a registered charity which is not owned personally by His Majesty The King, but held in trust by him as Sovereign for his successors and the nation.”
