The Bosses star posted the cutest new video on Instagram of her son Leodis “Leo,” 17 months, hanging out with his grandpa, and they look so cute sharing this special hobby.

In the video posted to Leo’s own Instagram account (run by his parents Palmer and her ex Darius Jackson), Leo and his grandpa play with water outside. “Hanging with my grandpa in his garden!” the video was captioned. “My grandpa is an awesome man, he teaches me so much by being a great example of leadership. I love him so much and so happy he moved closer to me! Larry Palmer is a LEGEND!”

Leo giggles delightedly as he plays in the water from the hose his grandpa is spraying. He tries to stick his head in the water, and his grandpa warns him not to “drink that water.” Leo, barefoot and wearing a t-shirt, toddles off. Between the gorgeous greenery and plants by the pool and the sweet grandpa-son relationship, this video is perfection.

The post included pictures of Leo and his grandpa gardening, planting cherries, and smiling in the sun. He is clearly basking in the glow of attention from his grandpa, just like all the well-loved plants in the garden.

In an interview with E! News earlier this week, the Nope star shared that motherhood changed her “in ways I didn’t expect.” “The funny thing about it, the child is the most responsible you can be,” she told the outlet. “Having a child is going to bring a certain level of responsibility that nothing else will.”

Palmer said that motherhood helped her realize the importance of self-care. “I need to be the best for him and to be the best for him, I gotta be the best me,” she said. “I’m not gonna be able to be the best me for him if I’m not focusing on the things that make me the best I can be.”
