How Brad Pitt & Ines de Ramon Made Sure Their Venice Trip Was Free of an Awkward Angelina Jolie Run-in

This year’s Venice Film Festival has every star we can think of so far: Winona Ryder, Angelina Jolie , and even Brad Pitt …with his girlfriend Ines de Ramon.

Angelina Jolie Seems To Have Sent Brad Pitt a Coded Message at the Venice Film Festival

That’s right, Pitt and Ramon are at the same festival as Pitt’s ex-wife, Jolie, with whom he’s still in a bitter divorce battle.

In photos obtained by People on Aug 31, Pitt and Ramon were seen arriving in Venice together in matching white looks ahead of the premiere of his upcoming film Wolfs on Sept 1.

Ahead of the 81st Venice International Film Festival , Ramon and Pitt were seen in light, white shirts, with Pitt in green-and-black check pants and Ramon in flowing beige pants.

Now, will Pitt and Ramon bump into Jolie ? Not a chance.

Earlier this week, Jolie made headlines for her rare appearance at the premiere of her new movie Maria , wowing fans with her performance and stunning red-carpet fashion. However, she’s already left the festival to avoid a run-in and is now headed to the 51st Telluride Film Festival, which goes from Aug 30 to Sept 2.

Venice Film Festival’s artistic director Alberto Barbera told Vanity Fair , “Yes, of course. Angelina will be on the first day, on Thursday the 29, and she will leave right after with [Maria director] Pablo Larraín to go to Telluride. So Brad will arrive only on Saturday, to Venice. There is no way that they can cross each other at the Lido.”

So, no run-in for these exes.

For those who don’t know, Pitt and Ramon were first seen out together in Nov 2022, less than six months after it was announced that she and her estranged husband, Vampire Diaries alum Wesley, called it quits. Since then, Pitt and Ramon have made their title official by reportedly calling each other their partners, and along with that, they celebrated New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day, and movie premieres together .

They’ve moved in together and made their official debut at the F1 Grand Prix of Great Britain at Silverstone Circuit in July 2024. Now, they’re making more and more red carpet appearances together.
