Fans Are Doing a Double Take After Brooke Shields Shares Her Latest Proud Mom Moment

Brooke Shields is one proud mama, and we don’t blame her! Her youngest daughter, Grier Hammond Henchy just walked in Tommy Hilfiger’s New York Fashion Week show, and she looked like a total natural.

“So proud of you @grierhhenchy ❤️,” Shields captioned a video of Grier’s walk. And to really drive that point home, Shields also wrote, “my girl. so proud” on the clip.

The 18-year-old strutted down the “catwalk” (Read: The side of the inactive Staten Island Ferry that Pete Davidson and Colin Jost own and repurposed into a fashion show venue) in a black maxi-dress with a scoop neck and pockets (!!!). Her long hair flowed behind her showing off her face that looks so much like her mom’s that fans had whiplash.

“Wait, that wasn’t you walking the runway? I did a double take. Beauty is truly in your genes,” one follower commented.

Along with Grier, Shields shares 21-year-old daughter Rowan with her husband Chris Henchy, and all three women have the same high cheekbones and iconic eyebrows .

Last month, the actress talked about how her relationship with her daughters is changing. “All of a sudden, they’re not yours anyone,” the Pretty Baby star said. “When you realize they are their own human beings, you get to meet them again. To have them reveal themselves to you, it’s a new type of relationship.”

“I didn’t mold them but I protected them enough so that they could become who they are and I got out of the way,” she added. ” … I feel if you’ve done it in a healthy way, you start to revel in these people that you actually like … I now get such a kick out of watching and listening to them.”

And she wasn’t the only one to notice the shift. “I feel like we’re now friends,” Grier told People . “You still discipline us but I feel like we’re much closer.” That must be even more true now that Grier is getting into the modeling biz and showing she has as much prowess as her mom. “Like mother, like daughter ❤️,” one fan said.
