Adventures are pretty much a daily occurrence for the Irwins — they literally live in a zoo! — and Bindi Irwin’s daughter Grace Irwin seems to have inherited the explorer gene. She led her family on a trek to “find the biggest termite hill” in Australia, and the 3-year-old looks absolutely delighted by her discovery.

“Grace wanted to find the biggest termite hill 💛,” the Australia Zoo CEO wrote on Instagram on Thursday.

For the unfamiliar, termites hills (or mounds) are built by these insects and make up some of the world’s largest biological structures that can go up to 26 feet! Researchers from Harvard found that different environments can lead to “distinct morphologies of termite mounds in Asia, Australia, Africa, and South America.” Pretty cool right? So, like any true explorer, Grace wanted to find the biggest — and, boy, did she! Bindi shared photos of the huge termite mound they found, and it towers over the group.

In the first picture, Bindi holds her daughter next to her husband Chandler Powell in front of the termite hill, which is more than twice the height of Powell. Grace looks so happy in the photo, dressed in her khaki pants, olive green shirt, and blue bucket hat. She smiles by herself in the second photo, standing tall and holding a tiny stick. She looks so proud of herself for finding such a tall hill, and it’s adorable to see.

Slide three shows Bindi, Grace, and Grace’s “Bunny” (her grandma Terri Irwin) peeking out from behind the termite mound. In another photo, you can see Grace admiring her cool find, pointing a stick at the huge termite mound like she’s Hermione from the Harry Potter series.

“Grace is the brightest and most beautiful soul,” Terri commented. So precious! Someone else commented, “❤️❤️❤️ Love her spirit!! She always wants to learn, climb, build, help… GREAT things are undoubtedly coming from Grace!! ….Also, I just can’t with her cute little face!!! 😍”

“She is just the sweetest. That little grin 🫶🏼” another wrote. “I love her little pointer stick or maybe a wand? So darling.❤️” someone else wrote. Grace truly is magical, isn’t she?

Last month, Bindi shared the “dream” adventure she has for her daughter that takes place outside of Australia. “When our beautiful daughter was born, I decided I wanted to take her on a big adventure,” she said in a video shared on Instagram . “Since my husband is from Florida and my mum is from Oregon, I want our girl to experience as much of the United States wilderness as possible.”

“My dream is to take her to every USA National Park before she’s 18. If you have advice, please share. I can’t wait to make this dream a reality…” Bindi added.

With Grace’s adventurous spirit, we know she’ll love those amazing experiences as much as her mom will!
