On Sept 13, Bindi shared a tear-jerking photo of Grace Warrior to her Instagram with the caption reading, “When ‘The Crocodile Hunter’ gets promoted to Grandpa Crocodile. ❤️🐊”

Irwin family fans won’t be able to hold back the tears when they see this, but here goes. In the photo, we see a large cardboard cutout of the late Steve, holding onto a crocodile. Then, when you look down, you see lil Grace Warrior making the same exact face as her late grandpa, truly bringing fans to tears.

Speaking of fans, they commented such sweet things under the video, saying things like “If only Steve could see her now. He’d be so proud 🥹,” “She has her granddaddy’s expression there,” and “cutest! they’ve got the EXACT same expression 😭😭👏.”

For those who don’t know, Bindi and her husband Chandler Powell welcomed their daughter Grace Warrior, 3, on March 25, 2021, which was exactly one year after their intimate wedding ceremony at the Australia Zoo.

In a previous interview with SheKnows , Bindi talked about how she thinks playtime with her daughter is one of the most important things to do. “Those moments of connection with play I still draw upon as an adult, and I think that’s really, really special. [P]laytime is so important because it gives kids the opportunity to have those building blocks for the foundation for the rest of their life.”

She added, “You play and you’re building confidence, you’re expanding on your knowledge, and discovering the magic of the world around you.”
