Meghan Markle & Prince Harry’s Staff Went on the Record To Address Rumors About Working for Them

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry ‘s staff are coming to their defense amid a series of scathing allegations about the work environment at their various businesses.

On September 24, Us Weekly shared a lengthy report in which several current and former staff members shared nothing but glowing reviews about working with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Their former chief of staff, Catherine St-Laurent shared that she and the couple have “remained close” since her departure, adding, “The time I spent working with Prince Harry and Meghan was incredibly meaningful to me.”

Another former chief of staff, Josh Kettler, also spoke out after his August departure sparked a report in The Hollywood Reporter in which sources claimed those who work for Markle are “terrified” of her. “She marches around like a dictator in high heels, fuming and barking orders. I’ve watched her reduce grown men to tears,” a source alleged.

Kettler, however, said he was “warmly welcomed” by both Harry and Meghan and the Archewell team during his time working there. “They are dedicated and hardworking,” he told Us Weekly . “It was impressive to witness.”

As for their high turnover of staff, Ashley Hansen, the couple’s global press secretary, told the outlet that this is a natural part of any new company. “Archewell is not unlike a start-up; it’s relatively young,” she said, adding, “Two things can be equally true: you can be a great leader and still have turnover. No boss or company is immune to that.”

For years, the couple have battled against allegations about their leadership style ever since a 2021 report in The Times of London accused Meghan of bullying staff at Kensington Palace. Meghan’s behavior has also been blamed for her the slow start for her new venture, American Riviera Orchard.

However, some anonymous current staff members shared a different experience with Us Weekly.

“Meghan will do things like, ‘You mentioned on the call your skin is bothering you, I put together a kit for you,'” said one staff member, adding that the couple are also generous with gifts. “Whenever staff goes to their house, they leave with a basket with fresh flowers, fresh fruit, fresh eggs.”

It seems that Team Meghan and Harry are done with the allegations against their former bosses and want to set the record straight.
