Ariana Grande & Ethan Slater’s Romance Is Reportedly Close to This Milestone But Her Friends Don’t Approve

While fans of Ariana Grande were all surprised when she started dating her Wicked co-star Ethan Slater , the pair seem to be going strong, and have kept a low-profile ever since. But, as new sources continue dishing on their relationship, it seems the two are going anything but slow and steady.

According to new sources for Life & Style , Slater might be planning a major milestone soon. “Ethan is itching to propose to Ariana,” the source said. “He’s already looking at rings, so it’s only a matter of time before he pops the question.”

As a reminder, Grande and Slater were first confirmed to be an item in July 2023. At the time, the “Dangerous Woman” singer had just filed for divorce from her ex-husband Dalton Gomez while Slater filed for divorce from his ex-wife, Lilly Jay, a few days later.

Of course, given how their relationship began, support from both the public and their personal circles has been hard to find. In fact, according to the new sources, friends of Grande aren’t behind Slater’s plans to propose.

“Some of her friends, and especially her family, think she and Ethan should hold off, take things slow,” the source said, adding that Grande’s divorce with Gomez was only finalized in March of this year. “But Ari’s totally in love with him and would absolutely say yes if Ethan got down on one knee,” the source said.

Looks like this duo fell hard and fast for each other, and aren’t giving too much thought about what anyone else thinks.
