Jodie Turner-Smith Had an Unbothered Response to Ex Joshua Jackson's Dating Life

Jodie Turner-Smith is taking the high road as ex-husband Joshua Jackson ‘s relationship status continues to make headlines.

The actress, 38, got candid about her 2023 split from the Dawson’s Creek actor in an Oct. 2 interview with Glamour but Turner-Smith has no desire to weigh in on her ex’s love life. “He can do whatever he wants,” the Queen & Slim star when asked about Jackson’s relationship with Lupita Nyong’o , whom he reportedly dated from October 2023 until this summer.

This isn’t the first time Turner-Smith has addressed Jackson and Nyong’o’s romance. “Good for them,” she told The Cut in June. “We need happiness in order to peacefully co-parent. I’m trying to get us to the Gwyneth and Chris Martin level. I truly hope they’re happy and that it benefits us as a family.”

Jackson, 46, was recently spotted getting cozy with another woman but don’t expect Turner-Smith to care about that either!

“Just be good to Juno and be good to Juno’s mum, because I’m going to be Juno’s mum forever,” Turner-Smith continued in her conversation with Glamour , referencing the couple’s daughter, Juno , who was born in 2020. “It’s really not for me to have an opinion on his journey.”

Earlier in the interview, Turner stated that she wasn’t looking for love just yet, amid her ongoing divorce. “I’m actually not dating, I’m over men,” she said. She later made it clear that finalizing her divorce from Jackson is a key part of her upcoming agenda as she strives for more stability. “I want to not be in the middle of a divorce. That will be a success, too,” she explained.

Jackson, 46, and Turner-Smith married in 2019 after a year of dating. In October 2023, Turner-Smith filed for divorce , citing irreconcilable differences.

“Sometimes things we really want to work just don’t end up working. And that’s OK,” she told The Times in February. “The most important thing is that you choose what’s healthiest for you and your family and definitely your children.”

Turner-Smith continued : “I don’t think it’s a failure. We obviously had such a beautiful moment together. And now it’s time for a new moment for both of us. And how exciting!”
