Drew Scott’s Son Parker Is a Demolition Expert in an Adorable New Video: ‘When Dad Is in Charge’

As one half of the Property Brothers, Drew Scott knows his way around a construction crew. From tearing apart walls and demolishing cabinets to creating something new, there’s always some kind of work that needs done on set. But at home, he leaves the tough job to his toddler son Parker, who he shares with wife Linda Phan. It turns out, the 2-year-old is already a demolition expert!

Scott shared a new video on Instagram , giving a sneak peek into what happens “when dad is in charge for the day.” Parker is hanging out in a sensory swing that is suspended from the ceiling of the family’s living room. As he holds onto the white fabric, Scott gently pushes him toward a huge tower made of magnetic blocks. He glides toward it in the slow-motion video set to Miley Cyrus’s “Wrecking Ball,” completing crushing the tower in one go! “Wow!” Scott praises from the background.

“Who needs a demolition crew when you have a toddler? 😂 #parenting #dadlife ,” he captioned the adorable clip on Instagram . As a fellow toddler mom, I can concur that they are the most destructive little beings!

The comments loved this sweet moment, which BTW, is such a dad thing to think of. The Property Brothers account commented, “He’s hired!”

Scott who also shares daughter Piper, 4 months, with Phan, often shares cute snaps of the family. Last month, he posted cute pictures of Parker sitting on various objects, like a ball or a potted plant. “What’s the best way to kick the tires of a new purchase? Sit on it!” Scott captioned the post . He’s a demo crew worker, a cautious buyer — Parker is just so cute!

In a previous interview on The TODAY Show With Hoda & Jenna, Scott shared that Parker “copies everything” from him. “It’s funny, when he first got his little mini guitar, because he watches me every morning — I try and strum a little for him,” he said. “I grab the pick off of the neck and then I strum. He gets his guitar and the first thing he did is reach over like this and then going to go like this,” he said, demonstrating how Parker pretends to strum even with no pick in his hand.
