Kate Middleton Was in Full Soccer Mom Mode Cheering On Prince Louis & WHAT?!

We know we might sound like a broken record at this point, but HOLY NORMAL! According to an eyewitness, Kate Middleton spent the weekend cheering on her youngest at a soccer game, and we just can’t believe that someone who could be The Queen of England at any moment is down-to-earth enough to also wear the title of Soccer Mom.

“You won’t believe this!!!” the TikTok user RoyalTeaAndTarot wrote over a video where she explains that she saw Middleton on the sidelines of a youth soccer game (or “football match”) where her son and Middleton’s 6-year-old son Prince Louis were both playing.

The TikToker was understandably stunned and didn’t know what to do (what’s royal protocol?! Can you take a picture of a princess on a pitch?!) but ended up sneaking a shot of Middleton bundled up on the side of the field — like every other sports mom in existence — for what must have been a chilly day. The Princess of Wales was laid back but chic as ever in her Soccer Mom ensemble that included brown mittens, a matching infinity scarf, and a newspaper boy hat.

The user said Middleton looked “miserable” and had no makeup on … but that kind of checks out for watching youth soccer on a Saturday morning. Prince Louis — who was understandably not photographed — reportedly got subbed out (Coach isn’t playing favorites!), and the mother-son duo left in a Range Rover after the game.

Despite some slight speculation over whether that was indeed Middleton (reminiscent of the theories that there’s a body double), we think that looks an awful lot like the Princess of Wales and have a hard time believing her youngest child wouldn’t have been weirded out by having an impersonator there.

Feeling confident that it was indeed Middleton, we can’t help but think about how proud her mother-in-law would have been. The late Princess Diana famously supported her kids Prince William and Prince Harry by attending their extracurriculars and participating in their school events . If not for her tragic and untimely death in 1997, we have to believe she would have been standing right alongside Middleton — perhaps looking miserable, but feeling oh-so happy to be cheering on one of her five grandkids.
