Initially, I didn’t go into using this new cream, thinking I would absolutely adore it or downright hate it; I was pretty indifferent about my thoughts for many reasons. For starters, moisturizers are just one of those products that typically always work well on my skin type. Plus, since it’s from Beauty Pie , I just knew it would be good. And since I’m a huge fan of the Super Healthy Skin line already, I knew I’d like this new addition.

The Ultimate Anti-Aging Vitamin Cream V2.0 is a new version of the famous Super Healthy Skin face cream with added vitamins for more benefits. The new moisturizer now has niacinamide (or vitamin B3) and vitamin C. Like the original, it also has hyaluronic acid plus twice the amount of the brand’s O-Lift complex that’s made to aid the skin in looking smoother and lifted. Now, I have to admit, I’m only 27, so when it comes to seeing my skin look more “lifted,” I can’t really attest to that. However, I can attest to everything else this cream claims to offer.

At first use, I noticed how lightweight the formula is. At the time, I was using Caudalie’s Vinoperfect Moisturizer and was used to how thick that one is, so switching to Vitamin Cream , I was genuinely surprised with how light it felt. It caught me off guard because both creams claim to brighten and are formulated with niacinamide. But after one or two uses, I started to appreciate how light it was. It has the same richness as my go-to cream, just without all the weight. While using it, I considered it to be a nighttime cream you could use in the day, since typically most night creams offer a rich, ultra-moisturizing feel. With the new Vitamin Cream V2.0, I could have that sensation any time of the day.

Aside from its consistency, the new cream can back up its claims. As I said before, my skin isn’t really in need of anti-aging benefits, but because I have a lot of hyperpigmentation and discoloration and still deal with acne, it’s always beneficial for me to use products made with vitamin B3 and C. Over the past two weeks, I noticed the texture of my skin felt smoother while my complexion seemed brighter. I didn’t really see a difference when it came to my acne. However, when I stopped using it for a few days, I felt my skin break out a little more. Perhaps it was my diet or other factors that played a role in my acne, but it was something I noticed.

Personally, I love using this cream in my morning routine. It offers just the right amount of richness and hydration to start the day without feeling weighed down.
