Jennifer Garner & John Miller Might Be Making Wedding Plans After Rocky Ben Affleck Summer

Jennifer Garner’s summer was filled with prioritizing her three children, Violet, 18, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12, with Ben Affleck as his marriage to Jennifer Lopez crumbled. Not only did she want their kids to be adjusting to the new situation, but she also wanted to make sure her ex-husband stayed on a path of sobriety.

Now, it sounds like the 52-year-old actress is putting her relationship with John Miller on the front burner amid wedding rumors. In Touch Weekly is claiming that Garner and her boyfriend are planning a “dream ceremony in Paris.” Her September trip to the Christian Dior show during Paris Fashion Week reportedly doubled as an opportunity to “seriously scout for a dream wedding dress and look at different wedding venues.”

The City of Lights is a special to the couple who has been on-again, and off-again since 2018. “Jen and John have taken a lot more trips to Europe than people realize,” an insider told the outlet. “Paris is one of their favorite escapes and they’ve decided getting married there this coming spring is something they want to do.” Since Garner’s wedding to Affleck in 2005 was a simple beach elopement with only her Alias co-star Victor Garber in attendance as their officiant, Miller apparently likes the idea of a “big wedding.”

“He loves the idea of giving her something that Ben never did, so he’s totally encouraging her to go all out,” the source added. “He’s got plenty of money and wants to totally spoil her.” While no formal engagement has been announced publicly, a Life & Style insider claimed in July 2023 that they “have been secretly engaged for months.” At the time, the source believed that it would be a  “very low-key and very much Jen’s simple but elegant aesthetic” with a “backyard ceremony with family and friends.”

Paris and a home ceremony are two very different types of weddings, but we know that brides always change their minds until they settle on a venue. The couple has been showing off their PDA recently after the Daily Mail admitted that there was a “divide” between them this summer. “John doesn’t like sharing Jen and there is a divide when it comes to her and Ben,” a source explained to the media outlet in August. “John is looking forward to Ben and J.Lo’s split being done so he can start focusing on Jen. Bumpy roads recently are looking to be smoothed out.”

With Affleck’s issues behind Garner, it looks like it’s nothing but smooth sailing ahead — and maybe a walk down the aisle.
