Thomas, a chonky-cheeked cat, is ready for love

Happy Forever Home Tuesday, friends! This week, we got back in the saddle with Queen City Cats. We traveled out to Shelburne to meet up with Miche, and one of her amazing fosterers, Michelle. While we were there, our goal was to highlight a new cat up for adoption. That cat’s name is Thomas O’Malley and there’s a lot to love about this guy…and we mean a lot!

Before Thomas was brought to Queen City Cats, he lived his life outdoors and still has that instinct inside of him. However, Thomas is an indoor-only cat as much as he tries to be outdoors. Thomas loves watching the birds, squirrels, and chipmunks out of the closed/cracked windows. Make sure your windows and sliding doors aren’t open too much when Thomas is around as he has proven he’s not only strong, but can be an escape artist.

Despite Thomas’ instinct to love the outdoors, he also loves being around his humans. Mr. O’Malley has the chubbiest, chonkiest cheeks you ever did see. Rest assured, there are no medical concerns or health issues with Thomas. Those cheeks are nothing but fat and are meant to be loved on when Thomas sees fit. He comes off as a little bit of a shy guy initially, but once he warms up to you it’s not nothing but love.

Thomas has been known to be good at food puzzles and loves his little squeezable gogurt-like treats. He is also playful but on his own terms. There are certain toys that he’s now just getting used to and falling in love with. Thomas has had quite the glow up both with his looks/healing process and with his personality.

Thomas O’Malley is ready to be adopted today and all you have to do is visit the Queen City Cat’s website to start filling out an application to make this handsome gentleman your own.
