Man arrested following domestic violence shooting in Richmond, Vermont
RICHMOND, Vt. — A man was arrested on Friday afternoon at a home in Richmond after a shooting led to an hours-long standoff with police. Vermont State Police arrested 23-year-old Dylan Davis at 2:15 p.m. after an incident on Meadow Lane. Police said Davis is now facing charges of aggravated domestic assault with a deadly weapon, domestic assault and reckless endangerment.

For the second time in 12 months, Moretown Elementary School flooded, causing damage to flooring, and the school’s boiler in the July 10 flooding. Harwood Unified Union School District superintendent Dr. Mike Leichliter said G.W. Savage was able to get to the site first thing on July 11 and has been working on clean up and remediation.
