MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) — The Alabama Department of Transportation today announced it has awarded over $100,000 in state funding to two municipal airports for improvements. The Shelby County Airport in Shelby County will receive $112,500 for pavement maintenance to a runway and taxiway.
