Ocean Springs police continue Fourth of July shooting investigation
OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WLOX) - An Independence Day gathering quickly turned into a crime scene on Cumberland Road in Ocean Springs on Thursday night. Officers arrested 68-year-old Henry Williams Andray for allegedly firing into a Fourth of July celebration, leaving seven people injured. Sgt. Parker Bourque with Ocean Springs Police Department tells WLOX that Andray faces 4 counts of aggravated assault.

Tylertown woman identified as victim of fatal Pearl River County crash
PEARL RIVER COUNTY, Miss. (WLOX) - Officials have now identified the victim of a fatal crash on Highway 13 in Pearl River County. The crash took place late Thursday night just after 11:30 p.m. when a southbound Jeep Wrangler collided with a northbound 2023 Toyota Camry driven by 23-year-old Jocelin Sanchez of Tylertown.

The Ole Miss Rebels gained another commitment in their 2025 recruiting class on Thursday night in the form of three-star wide receiver Samari Reed. He is listed as a three-star prospect by all major recruiting outlets outside of Rivals who lists him as a four-star.
