Beatrice Firefighters called to put out pickup fire in north part of city
BEATRICE – Firefighters in Beatrice were summoned to a pickup fire late Saturday afternoon. A fire captain said the driver of the truck had pulled into a convenience store to get fuel and plugged an air compressor into the truck’s cigarette lighter to fill a tire that was low on air.
