Police arrest driver who had loaded handgun under his seat
VAN BUREN COUNTY, MI – Sheriff’s deputies arrested a driver who police say started to reach for a loaded handgun under his seat before he was pulled from his vehicle. The incident happened around 1:35 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, at M-43 and M-40 in Van Buren County’s Almena Township.
GRCC officers respond to reports of deceased person found near campus, hit and run, property damage and trespassing
On July 16, Grand Rapids Community College Police responded to a medical emergency around 9 a.m. just off GRCC property and across from Fountain Street Church. Upon arrival, police determined that the 62-year-old man was deceased. The officer suspected that no foul play was involved and the case is now being handled by the Grand Rapids Police Department.

HUDSONVILLE, MI – Hudsonville residents are being advised to avoid the area of 40th Avenue and Glenview Court due to a water main break. The water main break was reported around 2 p.m. Thursday, July 25, on the City of Hudsonville Facebook page.
