Lakers set new records: With the end of another school year, members of the Shell Lake Laker  track team establish school records

SHELL LAKE — Another school year has ended, but members of the Shell Lake track team set a few new records for the next classes to shoot for. Among the accomplishments were the new members of the Century Club, awards for students who earn more than 100 points in a season. Club members were Dalton Anderson 238, Brenna Shafer 221, Lucas Jacobson 206, T.J. Hanson 196, Liam Hammond 196, Chase Anderson 158, Athena Lehman 132 and Spencer Palmer 113.

The 4x800 team set a new school record of 8:31.37. Members were Logan Christel, Palmer, Jacobson and Dalton Anderson.

A new Shell Lake School record was established by members of the 4x200 team with a time of 1:35.36. Members were Chase Anderson, Jacobson, Hammond and Hanson.

New Shell Lake School records were set by Dalton Anderson, with new times of 2:02.59 in the 800-meter run and 4:36.30 in the 1,600-meter run.
