Library group to hold book sale during Art Fest

SHELL LAKE — On Saturday, July 6, the Friends of the Shell Lake Public Library will have bins of books available for sale at the pavilion at Memorial Park in Shell Lake. With a free-will offering, you could go home with a bag (or bags) of books. The Friends of the Shell Lake Public Library are a nonprofit group who promote the library through volunteering and financial support. Their book sale will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Friends’ book sale is just one of four nonprofit organizations at the park on July 6 during the 21st-annual Shell Lake Art Festival. Glenview Assisted Living will have a silent auction for Goody Baskets created by board members and friends. They will also be located in the pavilion.

The Wisconsin Canoe Heritage Museum will sell raffle tickets for a beautiful canoe that was built by canoe museum members. The canoe and historic canoes will be on display near the pavilion.

The Shell Lake Police Foundation will also have a raffle ticket booth.
