CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Cody Sosebee describes himself as the Rodeo Clown, Barrel Man, and ambassador for the Cheyenne Frontier Days. The main job for Sosebee is to be a distraction for the bulls during the bull riding events, which allows for the bull riders to make it safely out of the arena.
City Arborist Provides Update on Trees in Sheridan
Officials with the City of Sheridan recently received an update from City Arborist Clark Van Hoosier. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details. The warm, dry winter has had a negative impact on the trees throughout Sheridan. City Arborist Clark Van Hoosier said there has been a widespread decline of the trees in the community because of the recent winter.
Young at Heart Community Campfire set for Friday
The Young at Heart Community Center will host a Community Campfire this Friday, July 26. The event will begin at 7:30 p.m. at 2400 Regan Ave. in Rock Springs. Attendees will receive a free s’more kit, and children must be accompanied by an adult. The event promises a delightful evening for friends and family to enjoy together. It is a potluck, so participants are encouraged to bring a dish or dessert to share. Young at Heart will provide hot dogs, buns, condiments, and s’mores. Cornhole boards will be set up for everyone to play during the campfire.
