I loved It Ends with Us so much that I had to read the second book in the series. If you haven’t had a chance to read the first book, you can check out my review right here.

In It Starts with Us, Lily and her ex-husband are working on their co-parenting journey. After two years of being separated, Lily is ecstatic when she runs into Atlas, and he asks her to go on a date.

However, she quickly realizes how much her ex-husband is still in her life. And how much he despises Atlas. She has no idea what he will do when he finds out about him, especially when he thinks about Atlas being in both his ex-wife's and his daughter’s life.

Hoover writes from the perspectives of both Lily and Atlas, allowing us to learn more about their earlier relationship and how they are ready to fall in love again while dealing with a jealous ex-husband.

I highly recommend that you follow up It Ends with Us with It Starts with Us. You will be glad that you did!
