NEW ALBANY, Ind. — A man was shot early Friday morning at a gas station in New Albany. According to a New Albany police news release, officers responded to the Circle K on Charlestown Road just before 4 a.m. for a report of shots fired. Police discovered multiple rounds in the parking lot and believe the incident stemmed from an argument.

In his first season, Brohm guided the Cardinals to a 10-4 record and the school's first appearance in the Atlantic Coast Confernece Championship Game. Work Relief Programs, Works Progress Administration (WPA) In 1941, the Works Progress Administration (WPA) completed work on a National Guard armory designed by Edd Gregg. The building is a poured, 2-story modern Deco style building with both horizontal and vertical elements on the front façade. It has been repurposed for use by the local YMCA. A barrel vault over the gymnasium is visible at the rear.

Goodin headed into senior season at EKU
Defensive back Tré Goodin is headed into his senior season with the Eastern Kentucky University football team. Goodin, a Taylor County High School graduate, played in all 11 of Eastern Kentucky’s games during the 2023 college football season. As a junior, Goodin recorded 14 tackles and one pass breakup. The Taylor County High School product logged a career-high six tackles in a game versus Stephen F. Austin on Nov. 18, 2023.
