The New England Patriots enter a new era under new Head Coach Jerod Mayo, but is it really a new era or a continuation of a Belichick style regime. Jerod Mayo, who played for the Patriots returned as a coach in 2019 and served as the Inside Linebackers coach until he received the promotion to Head Coach in 2024. Mayo has only played and coached under Belichick in the NFL and will no doubt continue a lot of the ways Belichick runs a team. Recent years under Belichick, more news came out that players were not reacting positively to how things were done in Foxborough. Will this theme continue under Mayo?
