Sheriff’s deputies say they were called to the report of a person who went underwater and didn’t resurface this (Fri) afternoon. They plan an update when there’s additional information on the search effort.

Renville man hurt in crash involving pickups hauling a boat and four-wheeler
(Becker MN-) A pickup pulling a boat and a pickup pulling a trailer with a four wheeler on it crashed in Sherburne County Saturday night, sending a Renville man to the hospital. The state patrol says 41-year-old Matthew Rohlik of Renville was driving the pickup with the four-wheeler westbound on 97th Street Southeast, and the pickup pulling the boat was southbound on Highway 25, about 2 miles north of Becker, when they collided in a t-bone crash. Rohlik was taken to The St. Cloud Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The other driver and a passenger were not hurt. The crash was reported at 8:56 p.m. Saturday.
One Injured in Saturday Evening Crash in Becker Township
One person was injured Saturday evening in neighboring Sherburne County where two pickup trucks collided in Becker Township. The State Patrol reports that just before 9 PM Saturday, a GMC Sierra pickup pulling a trailer with a 4-wheeler was westbound on 97th Street. Meanwhile, a Chevy Silverado pickup was southbound on State Highway 25, pulling a boat on a trailer. The vehicles collided in t-bone fashion at the intersection, resulting in one of the vehicles rolling over onto its roof in the ditch.

2 teens killed, 1 badly injured in Big Lake high-speed crash
Two teens were killed and one seriously injured after a high-speed crash in Sherburne County on Saturday. The driver of the vehicle, Donovan Paul Gobel, 17, of Elk River, and passenger Anthony Scott Krider, also 17, of Elk River, were killed in the crash, according to a Minnesota State Patrol report.
