Rose Namajunas is finding her groove at 125 pounds.
The former
Ultimate Fighting Championship strawweight queen earned her second consecutive flyweight victory, besting
Tracy Cortez via unanimous decision in the
UFC on ESPN 59 headliner at Ball Arena in Denver on Saturday night. “Thug” Rose was unfazed by a short-notice opponent change from
Maycee Barber to Cortez, and as a result, has moved closer to her ultimate goal of becoming a two-division champion. Cortez, meanwhile, fought valiantly but nonetheless saw a five-bout promotional winning streak come to an end.
Here is a by-the-numbers look at UFC on ESPN 59, with statistics courtesy of UFCStats.com.
