    Pulled Pork Recipe: Easy and Delicious!

    I love to make homemade pulled pork. You can bbq it or just enjoy it in a stir-fry or anyway you like it. This recipe is very simple to make and it comes together very quick. You will need the following ingredients:

    Recipe:

    2 - 3 pound pork roast, loin or shoulder

    2 tablespoons of bbq rub (my recipe linked below)

    salt and pepper to taste

    optional: bbq sauce

    Season the pork with the bbq rub making sure to coat all sides. Add the salt and pepper now. Tip: The amount of salt to add will depend if your rub has added salt in it.

    Place the pork into the slow cooker and set it on low for 6 - 8 hours or on high for 4 - 6 hours. The cook time will depend on how large a pork cut you have.

    Remove the pork from the slow cooker and set aside to cool for a few minutes.

    After it has cooled to a temperature that you can handle, remove any fat and shred it, slice it or cube it.

    Add your favorite bbq sauce and serve. Enjoy!

    Note: You can also cook this in the oven, in the instant pot or a smoker. Just adjust your cook times accordingly.

    I like to serve this pulled bbq pork on sandwiches, french fries and even as a baked potato topping. There is a bbq restaurant in my town that serves loaded bbq pork fries and baked potatoes and they are so delicious.
