LCM (50 meters) Virginia commit Thomas Mercer swam to the win in the boys 200 IM on the final night of competition in Indianapolis at NCSAs. Mercer touched in a 2:02.17, about half a second off his best of a 2:01.52 that he swam last month for 30th at US Olympic Trials. Mercer improved on his time from this meet a year ago as he swam a 2:02.99 for 2nd last year.

Hoosier AM/FM is selling its trio of stations in Kokomo IN to 3 Towers Broadcasting. While the terms of the deal have not yet been disclosed, 3 Towers will begin operating AC “Z92.5” WZWZ, “Rock 98.5” WMYK Peru, and Sports “The Score” 1350 WIOU Kokomo via LMA on Thursday, August 1.
