    MSP back in Sheridan area 1 week after couple found dead

    SIDNEY TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — State police returned to the Sheridan area on Wednesday, continuing their investigation after an elderly husband and wife were found dead in a home last week.

    As of Wednesday afternoon, no arrests have been made in the killing of Jessie Seward, 81, and Virginia Seward, 80, a Michigan State Police spokesperson told News 8.

    The spokesperson said detectives are following up on leads in the area as they investigate the double homicide.

    MSP: Deaths near Sheridan were double homicide

    According to The Daily News in Greenville , residents reported seeing vehicles being hauled away from the neighborhood Wednesday.

    On June 26, Jessie and Virginia Seward were found dead by a family member in their home, located on Beaver Drive near W County Farm Road in Sidney Township.

    They were remembered as “rich in love” by Jessie Seward’s stepdaughter, Deborah Soule.
