Jamestown Man Convicted in Federal Drug Case
A federal jury has found a Jamestown man guilty of drug charges that resulted from a February 2023 traffic stop in the city. U.S. Attorney Trini Ross announced Thursday that 39-year-old Jose Caceres, Jr. was convicted of possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine, possession of MDMA, possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, and maintaining a drug-involved premises. The verdict was the result of an investigation by the U.S. Probation Office, Jamestown Police Department, and DEA.

A voluntary recall has been expanded due to the potential health threat it poses in New York State. Wiers Farm Inc. of Willard, Ohio, is expanding its July 12, 2024, recall.
