    The long-term benefits are equally compelling. Regularly reflecting on personal values has been shown to improve mental health, reduce the frequency of doctor visits, boost academic performance, and even aid in achieving personal goals like weight loss or quitting smoking.

    Remarkably, these benefits often stem from just a single ten-minute writing session, with effects lasting months or even years.
