ScarLip Apologises After Her Boyfriend Said She Is ‘Not Beautiful’: ‘I’m Sorry, I’ve Been Humiliated’

ScarLip faces a PR nightmare after a video of her boyfriend condemning her appearance went viral. The video shows the unidentified man telling Scar Lip that she only looks pretty “sometimes,” eliciting outrage and objections from fans.

In the viral online clip, the 23-year-old rapper asked her boyfriend if he thought she was pretty. “You’re beautiful,” he said before adding, “Sometimes.”

ScarLip’s expression immediately changed as she enquired, “What does that mean?”

He responds, “It means sometimes, sometimes you pretty…”

She asked if she looked pretty.

“No, not right now. Definitely not right now. Definitely not, you’re looking a little…,” the mystery boyfriend responded.

Although he seemed not to have finished the thought, ScarLip appeared embarrassed by what he said.

After a lengthy pause, Scar decided to end the livestream but not before saying, “I’mma get out of here, ya’ll. I don’t feel like going live no more.”

After the exchange hit the internet, fans called on the Bronx rapper to break up with the man in the video, whom she called her boyfriend.

The singer later returned to social media to address the backlash, expressing her humiliation and embarrassment at the situation. She admitted that the incident had strained her relationship and that she was struggling to deal with the public scrutiny.

The rapper shared a message on her Facebook: “I have been humiliated. The world is laughing at my relationship.”

The viral video sparked an outpouring of support for Scar Lip, with fans and celebrities alike condemning the boyfriend’s actions. Some suggested that Scar Lip should reconsider her relationship with someone who would publicly criticize her appearance.

“Stop dating men who try to humble you! They don’t like you and/or are jealous of you,” a fan pleaded with the rapper.

Another added, “If they don’t think you’re beautiful in your most natural, comfortable look, then they’re not the one for you.”
