Reality TV star Karlie Redd has ignited speculation about her latest plans to have a baby at 51 years old. The news comes amidst a whirlwind of drama surrounding her fiancé, T. Davinci, who recently welcomed a child with another woman.
The “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star got engaged to T Davinci, the CEO of the streaming app NowThatsTV, in June following a swift courtship.
The 51-year-old revealed the exciting news for her new song at a single release party. On June 21, 2024, Redd hosted a party celebrating her latest single, “Lonely,” featuring Koshens. Some of her co-stars attended, and word quickly spread that she was engaged as Redd showed off her ring to co-star Yandy Smith.
In a video shared on Instagram Story by Yandy Smith, the TV personality could be seen introducing the music video before saying, “And also I’m engaaaaaged!!!”
Although it is unclear how long the couple dated, Karlie Redd publicly announced the relationship on Instagram two months before the engagement. In the post, she expressed gratitude to her man for the vacation he took her on for her birthday.
On Wednesday, MusicXclusives shared a snippet of a recent interview with Karlie Redd. In it, Redd shares how things went with her fiancé, T Davinci, who recently welcomed a baby girl.
Redd addressed speculation about her soon-to-be husband’s new child in the clip.
“So basically, before he met me — on our first date, he told me, he said, ‘Babe, I think somebody’s pregnant,’ He showed me who she was… and I was like, ‘Okay,’ but he was like, ‘But I don’t know if it’s mine.'”
She clarified that the woman in question was aware of her relationship with Davinci, adding, “But we stayed together through it. She’s a beautiful little girl, and I’m so happy to have her in our lives.”
Before she made her own huge announcement.
“I mean, I’m about to be pregnant,” she disclosed. “Yeah, I’m about to have a boy.”
