R&B queen Alicia Keys’ iconic hit, “No One,” has officially been certified diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), marking a significant milestone in her illustrious career.

A year and a half after the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced that Alicia Keys’ 2007 chart-topping hit ‘No One’ was on track to become her first solo, Diamond-certified hit, the institution has revealed that the song has finally crossed the sales threshold.

On Friday (August 16), The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced it had certified Alicia Keys’ 2007 hit “No One” as her first solo diamond record. The figure represents ten million in sales in the United States alone.

The announcement comes one month after Keys received her first diamond certification for her and Jay-Z’s “Empire State of Mind,” which the duo performed in their hometown of New York City for the first time since 2016 at the Tony Awards in 2024.

The diamond certification demonstrates “No One”‘s enduring popularity and cultural impact. This achievement solidifies the song’s status as a timeless classic, as well as Alicia Keys’ position as one of her generation’s most influential artists.

“No One” was released in 2007 as the lead single from her third studio album, As I Am, and quickly captured the hearts of listeners worldwide with its soulful melody and relatable lyrics. The song dominated the charts, topping the Billboard Hot 100 and earning Keys two Grammys.
