Rapper Trick Daddy has found himself in hot water with GloRilla fans after making comments perceived as inappropriate toward the young, fast-rising rapper.

The 50-year-old rapper rose to fame in the late 1990s and has ten children from other relationships , but none from his recent ex-wife, Joy Young.

The two officially separated in 2018. Although Trick Daddy agreed to an open marriage , he is adamant about never divorcing Joy. In a cringe-worthy interview with The Breakfast Club , he stated that he didn’t mind some good old-fashioned “adultery.”

“I allow her to date ,” he added, noting that he, too, has extramarital romantic relationships. “But now, I need to start evaluating these dudes she messes with ’cause these are my boyfriends and husbands-in-law — and we need to get along. (And they) need to take care of my wife . They need to do what they need to do.”

The backlash centered on the two artists’ significant age difference . GloRilla, who is in her early twenties, is much younger than Trick Daddy, who is in his early fifties.
