Deiondra Sanders Slams ‘Gollum’ Taunts Against Jacquees Appearance – ‘A Tired But Present Father’

Deiondra Sanders has defended her partner after a recent photo of him went viral. The image, which shows Jacquees looking exhausted while caring for their newborn son, sparked a wave of online criticism.

Jacquees and Deiondra Sanders have welcomed their first child, a baby boy with the same birthday as her father, Deion Sanders. Deiondra took to Instagram on Friday (August 9) to share photos of herself and the R&B crooner in the hospital and a heartfelt message about her newfound motherhood.

Jacquees shared his own Instagram post, praising his son as the “biggest blessing to date” and expressing that he’s “in love” again.

In another post of a sleeping Que holding his bundle of joy, he captioned it, “Man, I love Baby Que,” with crown and praying hands emojis.

Fans immediately zeroed in on the singer’s looks, making funny comments about his facial features as he cuddled his newborn son on his bare chest.

In a heartfelt defense on her social media, Deiondra took to the keyboard to address the backlash and clarify the context of the photo, “The face of a tired daddy!! One who has been changing diapers, one who gets up out of his sleep all hours of the night to help me go to the bathroom or simply just to help me adjust my pillow.”

She continued, “One who stays up for hours doing skin-to-skin with his son so his breathing can be calm. The face of a daddy that is present for me and my son during this time, knowing I can’t do much. The face of a tired but VERY present father, MY fiancée! Yall ain’t gotta like it anyways, cause he mine, and I love it.”

Deiondra’s comment garnered over 22,438 likes, with many praising her for defending Jacques and shedding light on the often unseen sacrifices parents make.
