Dedra Tufon, the inspiring Ms. Black California USA, has taken home the coveted title of Ms. Black USA 2024 after an impressive competition on Aug. 3 in Washington, D.C.

Representing the California Bay Area, Tufon’s victory is more than a win for her—it’s a triumph for her mission to champion body diversity and mental health advocacy, especially for women of color.

Known for her powerful message of self-acceptance, Tufon’s impact goes beyond the pageant stage. She’s the author of Beauty in Body Diversity, a book that redefines beauty standards and encourages individuals to embrace their unique selves. \
