    Enchanting’s Tragic Death At 26 Linked To Overdose On Prescription Medications

    Two months after 1017 rapper Enchanting’s shocking death in her prime, the cause of his passing has been officially revealed.

    Enchanting began her musical career at 18 after graduating from high school . In 2020 , She made quite an impression on Gucci Mane. At 22, she signed to the renowned rapper’s 1017 record label.

    Her career was already on an upward trajectory, with several successful projects. However, it was the endorsement from Gucci Mane that genuinely propelled her into the spotlight. Her debut 1017 project, ‘No Luv,’ was released in 2022, marking a significant milestone in her career. This was closely followed by another hit, “Luv Scarred / No Luv,” the following year.

    Before her unfortunate demise, Enchanting struggled to stay alive, fighting for her life on life support after an alleged overdose.

    The rapper’s passing in June left many questions unanswered. Tributes poured in from the music community , with artists like Megan Thee Stallion , Lil Durk, and City Girls expressing their shock and sorrow over losing their friend and colleague .

    “She came to my house over the last four days to clean. She tried her hardest, and I did everything I could to assist her,” a representative from her management team told The Shade Room, confirming her death.

    At the time , the details surrounding Enchanting’s death were kept private , leading to widespread speculation .

    Now, the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s office has disclosed that Enchanting overdosed on a combination of the opioid painkiller Oxycodone and benzodiazepines. Oxycodone is a manufactured opioid, and benzodiazepines are a class of depressants known by the brand names Valium, Xanax, and Klonopin.

    The office stated in its autopsy report that Enchanting, whose real name is Channing Nicole Larry, died at Baylor University Medical Centre in Dallas.

    Fans have taken to social media to express their grief , with many sharing the prevalence of substance abuse in society .

    “Them drugs is taking our generation off one by one. You never really know who’s going through what, though,” one user posted.

    Another added, “I feel like we knew this, and we really didn’t need to know this again , honestly. I’m praying for her family .”
