Jeannie Mai Is Taking Jeezy Back To Court For Owing About $100k In Rent, Child Tuition

Jeannie Mai has accused her ex-husband, Jeezy, of failing to comply with the terms of their divorce settlement. She claims that he owes her a large sum of money and has not completed the paperwork for the transfer of two vehicles.

Jeannie Mai and Jeezy have officially divorced after two years of marriage and a tumultuous public split.

According to court documents obtained, Mai claimed she suffered physical abuse at the hands of Jeezy throughout their marriage. But it was Jeezy, whose real name is Jay Wayne Jenkins, who filed for divorce.

In the initial court documents, the rapper stated that he and his wife are separated, with “no hope for reconciliation,” and that they have a prenuptial agreement. He also sought joint legal and physical custody of their daughter, Monaco, whom they welcomed in January 2022.

According to new legal documents obtained by TMZ, Jeanie Mai claims that Jeezy is not fulfilling several agreements they reached when they split earlier this year.

The agreements reportedly include paying for their child’s creche and school tuition, putting at least $500,000 in an interest-bearing account for their daughter Monaco, transferring the titles to two cars, and covering four months of her rent.

The former “The Real” host claims Jeezy has already failed to meet several obligations, including owing her $4,000 for tuition and childcare costs and failing to provide access to the $500,000 account he was supposed to set up for their daughter.

The legal papers also state that Jeezy was supposed to pay Jeannie’s rent from May to August. She claims he has not refunded her, and she is now owed $92,417.39 for almost four months of rent.

Furthermore, she claims that while the divorce settlement stated she would receive a 2021 Range Rover and a 2022 Ford Bronco, Jeezy has yet to transfer the titles, keeping her from insuring the vehicles or shipping the Bronco from Atlanta to Los Angeles.

Jeannie claims her legal team tried to resolve these issues by contacting Jeezy’s representatives, but they allegedly stopped responding in July. With little progress, she has asked the court to enforce the settlement and hold Jeezy in contempt.
