The Chicago Sky secured a crucial 92-77 victory against the Dallas Wings on Sunday, keeping their playoff hopes alive.

With momentum from their recent win over the Los Angeles Sparks, the Sky showcased a strong team effort, led by standout performances from Chennedy Carter and Isabelle Harrison, who filled in for the injured Angel Reese.

    Harrison Shines as a Starter

Isabelle Harrison had a stellar game, finishing with 21 points , nine rebounds , and two steals while shooting 50 percent from the field.

Known for her consistent bench contributions throughout the season , Harrison seized the opportunity to shine as a starter in Reese’s absence .

“I want to always remain aggressive,” Harrison said post-game. “I had belief in myself, and I wanted to step up with Angel being out today and still show that we can be a solid team. We have the pieces we need… Once you see it go in one time , that’s all the motor you need.”

Harrison’s presence was felt on both ends of the court , and she emphasized the importance of supporting Reese, who has played a pivotal role for the Sky this season.

“She’s still very much a part of our team, injury or not. We have her back, and we’re playing for each other, one game at a time,” Harrison added.

    Carter Leads the Offensive Charge

Chennedy Carter also delivered a standout performance , pouring in 28 points, dishing six assists, and grabbing four rebounds.

Her leadership on the floor continues to be vital, particularly with Reese sidelined due to injury. Carter’s aggressive play helped the Sky jump to an early lead, setting the tone for the game .

Chicago’s hot start saw them sink 100 percent of their three-point attempts in the first quarter (3-of-3), while holding Dallas to just 33 percent shooting from beyond the arc. The Sky’s balanced attack allowed them to lead by as many as 26 points, overwhelming the Wings with their two-way play.

    Sky Keep Playoff Push Alive

With the victory, Chicago improved to a 13-22 record , maintaining their eighth-place position in the standings and securing a one-game advantage over the Atlanta Dream , who sit in ninth place.

Fans and analysts had questioned how the Sky would perform without the presence of Angel Reese , but as Harrison noted, the team remains determined and capable.

As Chicago continues its playoff push, the contributions of players like Harrison and Carter will be essential in keeping the team competitive , especially in the face of injuries .

The Sky’s next game will be pivotal in solidifying their postseason position.
